![]() ![]() 3) The service switch on this board from the harness goes nowhere I assume it can only be axcessed from the dips (not sure if common with bootlegs) I've tried that an upon a reboot with service dip (pin 3 dipswitch A) on it just shows a black screen turn switch dip back over and she loads as normal "hangs" displaying same error 43 and begins its fade away process. Ok so the game only gets as far as the screen shot above "ic error 43" and i cant do anything further it wont allow me to add credits and doesnt move into any attract mode effectivley i geess just hanging there, 2) Slowly it then begins to fade fade away till the screen is blank upon a fresh restart I get the "splash" screen with same error back up again and it repeats the same activity. Ill try an explain eveything this board is doing as best i can so bare with me -) there is a stack going on. is also not working long shot i know as this post dates back but worth a go. So anyhelp would be appreciated and a copy of the original schematcs to this bootleg board might help as there a bit going on sound and what looks to be a missing i assume amp chip. Now the enable signal on the 74253 is controlled by a 74ls32 which looks to be doing it's job although its sending a high signal to the /2g on the 253 now one the inputs to the ls32 rolls back to the pal so not sure if coincidence and its sending a wrong signal to one of the OR gates or its nothing and all issues are seperate and maybe the 74253 is bung. I traced back the coin line from the original schematics to a 74253 which takes care of the coin credits ( it does switch states from high to low when i press the button on my test rig but all otherr signals arent doing there thing I traced those inputs back to their respetive outputs and all outputs are correct havent gone any further than that at this stage. ![]() ![]() My bootleg has an IC 43 embossed on the CPU PCB a pal16r4, so im shooting a little blind atm as to whether the boolegs were manufactured using original taitio pcb design and the pal is the chip in question, something tells me it is the as I can't add any credits. ![]() Click to expand.Hi guys im new to this kind of stuff and figured id reach out for some help, got myself a bootleg 56 pin BB and have managed only to get an intro screen with an error "ic 43", looking at the original schematics location 43 has an "ic6" 74ls86 and reading around a guy quoted having replaced this 86 as ic 43 on the video board. ![]()
